Experimenting with new materials

I was lucky enough to be given some lovely pieces of Australian tree bark.  It is very delicate, almost like tissue paper.  I'm going to use it in my stitch art...here is the first one.

I'm also trying out some box-framed pieces that will contain 3D figurines I've made.  My first, unfinished piece... Feel free to comment.
